NORTH CONWAY, NH - Cranmore has announced their mountaintop dining series will include a new Hawaiian-themed dinner called Aloha at the Summit, as well as the return of the very popular, Smoke on the Mountain.
“Our goal with this series is, not only to push our own culinary skills at Cranmore, but also create an immersive dining experience that guests will really remember," said Cranmore’s food and beverage director, Michael Rennie.
The series begins with Aloha at the Summit on July 12 from 4–7:30pm. Tickets include a ride up the Scenic Chairlift to the Meister Hut, where guests will enjoy an island-themed barbecue featuring a delicious pig roast and live music.
Along with the Kalua pig roast, entrees will also include Polynesian chicken thighs and Tenkasu tempura shrimp. The entrees will be accompanied by Hawaiian-inspired sides including: pineapples and veggie fried rice, Hawaiian macaroni salad, cucumber kimchi and King’s Hawaiian rolls. The signature cocktail for the evening is a Mountain Mai Tai, made with the local distillery Cathedral Ledge’s organic blueberry vodka. Finally, to end the evening on a sweet note, guests will be treated to piña colada cake parfait.
Next, the popular event Smoke on the Mountain will make its return on Aug. 16 from 4–7:30pm.
“This event was an absolute hit last year, so we can’t wait to bring it back,” Rennie said.
This Louisiana-style barbecue includes a ride up the Scenic Chairlift to the Meister Hut, as well as a buffet-style meal full of signature Southern, smoky flavors.
Entrees at Smoke on the Mountain will include: smoked pork ribeye chops with a bourbon butter glaze, shrimp and smoked andouille jambalaya, and blackened chicken thighs with a creole cream sauce. These dishes will be paired with muffaletta pasta salad, grilled ratatouille, pecan glazed sweet potato steak fries and cornbread with orange honey butter. Cranmore’s signature cocktail for this event will be their take on the New Orleans classic, Sazerac, a drink known for its unique blend of rye whiskey, bitters and sugar. Lastly, dessert will feature fluffy and sweet Cafè du Monde beignets.
Tickets are available for purchase here. Admission for each event costs $65 for adults and $39 for children 10 and under. Learn more about Cranmore’s upcoming events at https://cranmore.com/events.
