Scenic Chairlift
Take a relaxing seven-minute ride to the top of the mountain on Cranmore’s four-passenger summit chairlift. After reaching the top, breathe in the fresh mountain air and take in the stunning views of the surrounding Mt. Washington Valley.
Single Ride Scenic Chairlift tickets are $25 per person, 42"+. Scenic Chairlift rides are also included in standard Mountain Adventure Park admission.
The Scenic Chairlift begins summer operations this Memorial Day Weekend, and will operate weekends only, 10am-4pm through early June. Last chair to the summit is 3:30pm.
Restrictions: riders must be age eight years or older to ride alone.
Meister Hut
Located at the summit, the historic Meister Hut is the perfect spot to kick back and relax on the deck or make it a mountaintop picnic. The restaurant is open alongside Scenic Chairlift hours of operation (last call 30 minutes before last chair down) and offers a lunch menu, grab and go snacks, ice cream, and local craft beer, canned cocktails, and wine.
Hiking at the Summit
Starting at the Meister Hut is a ½-mile loop around the summit and the two-mile Black Cap Connector trail. Both great hiking options for families, they offer stunning, 360-degree views of Mt. Washington Valley, Presidential Mountain Range, Black Cap Mountain and the Moats. Please hike at your own risk, stay on designated paths, carry in/carry out and don’t feed the animals.
