Cranmore Cranks Up the Summer Season

North Conway, NH (May 22, 2024) — With new promotions, events, biking excursions, an adventure park and more, Cranmore Mountain Resort is ready to launch into a summer of adventure. Summer operations kick off May 25 (Memorial Day weekend) on weekends and holidays through mid-June. Core summer operations will begin June 15, with the Mountain Adventure Park and Scenic Chairlift open daily, and the lift-serviced downhill bike park open Wednesday-Sunday.

Since launching in 2020, Cranmore’s Bike Park has become a growing attraction at the resort. The park includes a diversity of progressive trails, so there’s something for all levels of riders with some mountain biking experience. Riders can get comfortable on the bike at the Skills Park before progressing to beginner trails and building up their skills from there.

The Bike Park features over six miles of machine-built and handmade terrain and remains the only lift-accessible bike park in the MWV. The Bike Park also allows access to a greater mountain biking network like Ride Noco and NEMBA.

Cranmore has also quickly become the bike rental hub of the Valley, offering rental recreation, or cruiser, bikes. These rec bikes will allow guests to take on leisure rides on the MWV Rec Path, a 2.9-mile paved path that recently expanded to Cranmore’s site in July 2023. The path winds around Pudding Pond, includes scenic views of Peak Mountain and ends near Settlers Green, which offers a bevy of shopping and local dining options.

Continuing their commitment to the community, Cranmore will once again host “School’s Out for Summer,” where local students of SAU9, SAU13 & SAD72, 18 and under, get full access to the Mountain Adventure Park or Bike Park—for free. This local event will take place June 24-28. To redeem, visit the ticket office on the day of arrival. One redemption per student, per season.

Additionally, the Mountain Adventure Park will now offer full-day admission during core hours. For early and late seasons, tickets are sold in 2-hour time blocks and attractions are limited to the Mountain Coaster, Soaring Eagle Zipline, Giant Swing and Scenic Chairlift.

Après Adventure is also back this summer. On Wednesday and Saturday nights in July and August, the Mountain Adventure Park will be open from 5pm to 8pm, with rides on the Mountain Coaster, Soaring Eagle Zip Line and Giant Swing. Après Adventure tickets are $39 for all ages.

Wednesdays continue to be the day for locals. Taking place in July and August at the Fairbank Lodge Patio, from 12pm to 8pm, Summer Wednesdays will feature brewery pricing and prizes from Tuckerman Brewing, live local music and barbecue. Along with the return of the weekly Mini Meisters Downhill Bike Series for kids 16 and under, Wednesdays are the perfect weekday break for the community.

Cranmore’s family-friendly event calendar will see another packed schedule, with returning favorites like the Arts Jubilee Music Series. New to the events roster is a new dining series, featuring a trio of themed culinary experiences, including the return of last summer’s sold-out summit barbecue event Smoke on the Mountain.
