Mount Washington Valley may be a famous ski haven in the winter, but when the snow melts, our community quickly shifts gears and transforms into a mountain biking mecca. Located at the epicenter of it all is the Cranmore Bike Park.
Whether you’re brand new to mountain biking or your wheels are just a bit rusty, our 6 miles of machine-groomed, progressive trails are the perfect place to begin your summer of adventure. Learn all about how to make the most of your time at the only lift-serviced bike park in the Valley from our Summer Operations Manager Dan Robbins here.

Safety Tips
Start slow—take a few mellow laps and get a feel for the trails. We also have a great skills park that can help get you comfortable on the bike before you hop on the chairlift.
Please don’t stop or walk in the middle of the trails. If you need to rest, step off the trail.
Downhill mountain biking isn’t just cruising around your neighborhood; some skill and strength are needed. To help with this, we recommend always standing up when riding downhill.
The proper equipment really makes a difference, so be sure to check and inspect your gear. Our rental shop also offers great equipment, guaranteed to make your day much more enjoyable than your old mountain bike from the 80s.
Bike helmets are required, pads are optional and hydration is key.
Our staff is knowledgeable and friendly, so feel free to ask questions!
