SkiNH Recognizes Long-Time Cranmore Employee for Ski Industry Contributions

NORTH CONWAY, NH – Long-time Cranmore employee, Brantly Ludington, was one of two recipients of Ski New Hampshire’s 2025 Next Gen Award during their annual meeting and awards ceremony held June 3 at Cranmore Mountain Resort’s Fairbank Lodge.

The award honors a young professional who is building a successful career in the ski industry, making innovative contributions to their resort, and emerging as a future leader within the industry.

Ludington joined the Cranmore team in 2010 as a ski instructor. Over the past 15 years, he has taken on a variety of roles across the resort, steadily rising through the ranks and earning a promotion to Director of Mountain Operations in July 2024. In this role, he led a transformative snowmaking infrastructure project that significantly increased water pressure and snow production on key front-facing trails. He also overhauled the resort’s grooming program, restructured the team and brought in new leadership—improvements that led to notable gains in all NPS scores for that category.

In addition to overseeing daily mountain operations, he chairs Cranmore’s Safety Committee and serves on Ski NH’s Legislative Committee, demonstrating his broad impact on both the resort and the regional ski community. Known for his hands-on leadership style and collaborative approach, Ludington has earned the trust and respect of the entire Cranmore team and ownership.

“Brantly has truly grown up at Cranmore, and his journey reflects both a deep-rooted passion for the mountain and a commitment to operational excellence,” said Ben Wilcox, Cranmore President & General Manager. “He leads by example, puts in the work alongside his team, and continues to drive meaningful improvements. His leadership embodies the values we hold as an organization, and we’re incredibly proud of the leader he’s become.”

Cranmore’s daily summer operations begin June 14. For tickets, savings on tickets and a full calendar of summer events, visit www.cranmore.com or call 1-800-SUN-N-SKI.
