Where to Eat in North Conway: 2025 Edition

In our mountain town, the après season doesn’t end when the snow melts.

And the locals will tell you, truly great summer après spots are about more than just delicious food, although we’ve definitely got that in spades. It’s also about unwinding and soaking in good vibes with good people after a day of adventuring.

Feel free to stop any of us at the mountain to get dining recommendations in North Conway or the Mount Washington Valley. Our crew knows the Valley, and they’ve got the scoop. Below is merely a sample of our favorites:

With plenty of new dining options at Norcross Place (conveniently and centrally located on Main Street in North Conway), it’s the perfect summer to add more locations to your “favorites” list!

First, we recommend checking out Cheese Louise, a hit among tourists and locals alike! The specialty grilled cheese sandwiches are an elevated take on a nostalgic classic. With a variety of cheeses and gluten-friendly options, there’s something for everyone.

Also new to the block is Sap House Meadery! For those who aren’t familiar, mead is a gluten-free alcoholic beverage made from honey and, thanks to its cozy tasting room and sample flights, Sap House is the perfect place to try it!

Then, don’t forget to hit up Saco River Brewing’s new location right next door! Enjoy one of their draft beers from the rooftop deck and take in views of Schouler Park, the Moat Mountain Range and Cathedral Ledge.

While you’re in the area, you can also stop by Craft NoCo, a new après addition to the North Conway Village. Order yourself a high-quality craft cocktail or mocktail, and a selection off their mouthwatering menu.

“One of my favorite spots in North Conway is May Kelly's, a cozy Irish pub full of charm! The atmosphere is super warm and welcoming, and the staff is always so friendly, which makes it a true local favorite.

The best part for me personally, specifically in the warmer months, is the outdoor patio. It has amazing views of the Saco River and the mountains, and it's the perfect place to relax and grab a bite to eat. My go-to orders are the Irish nachos or the fish and chips, but they have so many good choices on the menu that it's always hard to decide. This is definitely a must-try spot in North Conway!”

“A sweet treat with a view!

Overlooking the very active town center, Mystic Sugar Bakery is the perfect stop! From the large cookies to the creatively flavored cupcakes, this shop is full of character and friendly people. I’d definitely recommend their maple snickerdoodle cookie!”

Chef’s Bistro is one of my favorite go-to spots in town, whether I’m craving a full dinner like their chicken piccata or seared tuna, or just looking to enjoy a few apps and one of their signature cocktails. You can’t go wrong with the oysters or charcuterie board, paired with a pineapple habanero margarita or their New England maple old-fashioned.

When the weather’s warm, their patio on Main Street is the perfect place to soak in the scene. It’s also a fun late-night hangout, especially on Mondays during open mic night—a great chance to catch some local talent."
