RFID

SKI. RELOAD. REPEAT.

Getting on snow at Cranmore has never been easier thanks to the introduction of RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) for lift access across the resort. This hands-free system means you’ll be given a lift ticket card you can reload with additional days of skiing throughout the season, or an RFID-enabled season pass—Both offering direct-to-lift access.

Guests can now expect streamlined access to the lifts and an easy pass-reload system, allowing for more time doing what you love!

Step 2

To pick up your ticket(s), head to a pick-up box (PUB) located outside the main ticket office, and scan the QR codes from your confirmation email of the tickets you wish to redeem. Once your ticket has been dispensed, place your card in a jacket pocket on the left side of your body, between shoulder and waist height, away from any credit cards, cell phones or other RFID-enabled tickets. DO NOT bend or hole-punch your card. Only carry your own RFID card. Do not carry cards of family members, friends, etc.

Step 3

Head to the slopes! Gates are located at the Skimobile Express Quad and South Quad. These gates will scan your card from inside your pocket and will automatically open once approached. Manual scanning will continue at other lifts, and the handheld scan guns will scan your card from inside your pocket.

Is my lift ticket or season pass transferable?

No. Cranmore reloadable RFID cards are linked to individual customers. New Hampshire Statute RSA 637:8 “Theft of Services” will be enforced. The misuse of a ticket or pass could result in the loss of the ticket/pass.

Can I reload my lift ticket with a tubing or Mountain Adventure Park ticket?

No. Lift tickets may only be reloaded with the same lift ticket product purchased.

Why do I have to pay a $5 fee?

A one-time ticketing fee will be added to all first-time card purchases, excluding season passes. When reloading your RFID ticket, you will not have to pay this fee.

What if I lose my card?

Season Passes and day tickets can be replaced at the main ticket office. There will be a fee to replace a lost or forgotten season pass or lift ticket.
