You set the example for your peers and foster a spirit of teamwork and achievement. Your efforts contribute greatly to Cranmore’s mission of becoming The Mountain of Choice in New Hampshire & Maine.

Summer Award Winner: Yolande Tavenner, Assistant Ticket Manager

Starting the summer season without a Ticket Manager in place can be daunting for anyone in Yolande’s position. However, she has truly stepped up to the plate and made a significant impact in her role, consistently approaching challenges with positivity and a willingness to learn. Yolande has demonstrated remarkable dedication, not only ensuring a positive and fun work environment for her staff but also extending her support to other departments. Her genuine investment in everyone’s success and her readiness to lend a helping hand has made Yolande the example of what it means to be a team player. I cannot thank Yolande enough for her hard work and dedication, there is no one more deserving of this award.” Tricia Garcia, Resort Operations Director

Mountain Adventure Park Ticketing – Jessey Eisenhut

“Jessey started the season in MAP Attractions and transferred back to MAP Tickets. Jessey did a great job selling tickets, helping guests with waivers, and assisting co-workers. No matter what came her way, Jessey was always smiling, happy and self-sufficient.” Yolande Tavenner, Assistant Ticket Manager

Ticket Office – Ryan Meade

“For his first summer in the ticket office, Ryan quickly learned to sell every product and answer all questions asked by guests. He also helped patrol sweep the bike trails at the end of the day and sometimes worked on the trails when needed after a rainstorm.” Yolande Tavenner, Assistant Ticket Manager

Bike Park First Aid – Ryan May

“This is Ryan’s first season as a Patroller after completing his medical training. He has excelled in his commitment to the team and has taken on every task assigned to him with enthusiasm. Ryan is an expert rider and assisted our guests in many ways including First Aid, directions, riding tips, and answering general mountain questions. His dry sense of humor always showed its head at the most needed times. Ryan spend many shifts independently learning and practicing with all Patrol equipment and became an approved operator for the Patrol ATV and Ranger. His trail work was excellent with an eye to the little things that riders enjoy. We are proud of his growth over the season and excited to name him Patrol’s Summer Award Recipient.” Alan Tate, Patrol Director

Facilities – John Jemo

“John has been an incredibly valuable asset to Cranmore Mountain. He works diligently to ensure our guests have a beautiful experience while enjoying the summer activities. John has been eager to learn how our daily operations work has been instrumental in the beautification of the garage area. He meets and greets our visitors with a smiling face, happy to help with any questions necessary to get them where they need to be. John has a keen eye for detail and encourages the continued teamwork in the facilities department. From John’s bulletproof handrails to the true care he puts into the condos, his dedication to his craft has not gone unnoticed.” Ben Siwak, Facilities Manager

Lifts – Stephen Adam

“This is Stephen’s second summer as Lift Operator on the summit of the Skimobile Quad. Steve is great with our guests and is knowledgeable with what is happening around the resort as a whole. If I need him to pick up a shift or work late, he is always willing to help. Steve began working at Cranmore in the SnowSport department in the fall of 2020 as an instructor, but also helps out on the Carpet when needed. Maybe I can get him to work full time in the winter.” Albert Dubie, Lifts Operations Manager

Mountain Adventure Park – Khwanjira (Marina) Roykaew

“Marina is selfless; always willing to do what is asked of her and is very adaptable. She is a problem solver and has an exemplary work ethic. Further, she does it all with a smile and a very positive attitude. All the International Students have been rock stars this summer. However, Marina has been truly exemplary.” Phil Bailey, Mountain Adventure Park Manager.

Bike Rentals – Albert Mottola

“Without Albert’s help, it would have been difficult to operate the rental department on a daily basis. He has been very professional in working with guests and answering any questions they had about Cranmore.” Gregg Ludvigson

Bike Rentals – Jonah Katz

“Jonah has been instrumental in helping guests with questions about the bikes, the Bike Park, or mountain biking in the valley. In my absence, he was able to provide guests with any information about biking, this included answering
questions they had about their bikes.” Gregg Ludvigson

Sodexo Good & Beverage – Szabina Menyhart

“Szabina has been an outstanding player on the Sodexo Food & Beverage team. Her efforts, ability to anticipate the needs of the business, positive attitude, and teamwork, have greatly contributed to the success of the operation at the Meister Hut in a summer that we have experienced record summer revenues.”
