Mountain Living at Cranmore

Anyone who’s experienced it will tell you mountain living is the best kind of living.

Mountain life is about soaking in the beauty of nature with your favorite people. It’s about waking up to the sound of adventure knocking. It’s about the gratification of staying active. It’s about the exhilaration and fulfillment of reaching the summit.

At Cranmore, mountain life is alive and well, and ready to be shared.

When it comes to getting out on the mountain, we think it’s important to start ’em young.

Snow or shine, there’s always a way for kids to have an absolute blast at Cranmore. In winter, the resort takes part in the Eastern Slope Ski Club (ESSC) initiative to teach local students how to ski and ride. From January to March, all the children in the Valley (grades 1–6) can head to the mountain for a half-day each week to learn. It’s Cranmore’s way of upholding ski school founder Hans Schneider’s mission: If a child in our community wants to get on skis, they will. Read more about Cranmore’s rich history of ski culture here

But the fun doesn’t end once the snow melts. One of Cranmore’s favorite summer traditions is Mountain Meisters, a six-week downhill bike program for kids 16 and under. At the end of the season, the newfound mountain biking pros celebrate with a barbecue and awards ceremony. Sound right up your kiddos’ alley? Register for Mini Meisters here.

There’s also plenty of opportunity for your whole crew to make memories together. Not only at our progressive Bike Park and on our family-friendly ski trails, but also at the various festivities held throughout the year. In the winter there’s Cranapalooza, a recurring event in Schneider’s Square complete with music, games, s'mores, C-more the Penguin, and on occasion, even a fireworks show! Cranmore also hosts Summer and Winter Wednesdays, which include patio barbecues, a satellite bar and live music on the patio of Fairbank Lodge.

You can spend your vacation directly at Cranmore by booking your stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites North Conway. On top of the unbeatable location, you will also have access to an indoor pool, hot tub, fitness center, bar, restaurant and more.

Thanks to the resort’s investment in real estate development, you can now purchase or rent your perfect home away from home at the mountain. Spacious and modern, this is our true definition of mountain life. Learn more about the upcoming developments at cranmorerealestate.com.

Mountain living at Cranmore gives you access to the MWV Rec Path, a 2.9-mile trail winding around Pudding Pond that offers sweeping views of Peak Mountain. The picturesque downtown of North Conway is also mere minutes away, set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Moat Mountain Range.

Cranmore is also well-connected to the rest of the Valley, and serves as the perfect opportunity to uncover what kind of outdoor adventurer you truly are.
