Women's Week
The First Annual Women’s Week at Cranmore Mountain Resort is a celebration of women in skiing and outdoor sports. This week-long event will include specialized activities, workshops, and social gatherings aimed in fostering a community of women who are passionate about skiing and outdoor adventures. This week’s events will emphasize networking and female empowerment.
Monday, March 10: Women's Ski Lessons
10:30am-12pm | $159/person includes 90 minute lesson, rental equipment and Beginner Basin lift access
Take your skiing skills to the next level with Women’s Ski Lessons during Women’s Week at Cranmore! This special group session is designed exclusively for women, offering a supportive and empowering environment to learn and improve. Led by three experienced instructors from our Snowsports school, these lessons are perfect for beginners or those looking to refine their technique. Join us on the slopes for a fun and confidence-building experience surrounded by fellow women who love the mountains. Capacity is limited - online registration coming soon.
Wednesday, March 12: Women's Luncheon with Leanne Smith
11:30am-1:30pm | $25/person | Mt. Washington Room at Fairbank Lodge
Join us for a memorable Women’s Luncheon during Women’s Week, featuring North Conway’s own Leanne Smith. Born and raised in the Mount Washington Valley, Leanne grew up skiing at Cranmore with the Cranmore Race Team before advancing to the MWV Ski Team and ultimately becoming a two-time Olympic skier. Now the U16/U18 Assistant Coach, she brings a wealth of experience and inspiration to the slopes. Connect with fellow women, enjoy a delicious meal, and be inspired by Leanne’s story of passion, perseverance, and achievement. Online registration coming soon.
Friday, March 14: Wax & Wine Workshop
5:30pm-7:30pm | $25/person | Cranmore Rental Shop
Celebrate Women’s Week at Cranmore with our Wine & Wax Workshop! In partnership with Mountain Sports Lab, this interactive session in our rental shop will teach you the essentials of ski and snowboard waxing in a fun, relaxed setting. Registration is $25 per person and includes one drive ticket and small bites. Bring your gear, enjoy some refreshments, and connect with fellow women who share your passion for the slopes. Saturday, March 15: Women's Uphill Ski Bash
10am-5:30pm
Close out the week with Inclusive Ski Touring, for the Women's Uphill Ski Bash. This includes several uphill ski sessions throughout the day, interspersed with vendor showcases and educational seminars. Participating vendors include Blizzard, Tecnica, Fisher, Hyperlite, Joes/Mammut, and Trew. The event will conclude with a raffle and Après Ski Party from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m in Zips Pub. This event is $40 and does not include an uphill day ticket. Uphill Day Tickets are $19 and are only available for purchase onsite at Cranmore’s ticket office.
